Porto — Restaurant in Itoman

Came here at 13:30 or 1:30pm for a lunch with my wife and daughter. When we arrived we were told we could only order Pizza. Last order for food is at 14:00 or 2pm so I was a bit confused. My wife doesn’t eat pizza and we saw they have pastas and salads but since they weren’t available we decided on a pizza to go. We got the Margarita pizza which is about 23-25cm big which was enough for my daughter and I. The taste is fantastic although the sauce is a bit watery. The crust had a nice crunch and salty after taste which I love. My daughter asked if we could go back for a second pizza. I will definitely be returning. I want to try the Mr. Jamaican pizza.

Laid back pizza and pasta restaurant. I appreciate and understand things happening on island time. Not rushing pasta is a good thing. Jerk chicken pizza was really nice. They understand the concept of flavor without adding too much spice to enjoy the food. Crust is chewy and crispy. Chefs know how to overcome humidity obstacles with bread. It’s hard to make crust light and bubbly like this in this kind of climate. I know three Japanese words so far. Didn’t stop me from enjoying meeting the staff and ordering what I wanted, sharing a laugh and foodie pics. Porto is conveniently located at the corner of a residential neighborhood. The waitress and chef were friendly and the food was fantastic. The ¥1300 pizza lunch special came with a drink, salad, and pizza. The salad was light, crisp and refreshing, a perfect opener for the main pizza. You could watch as the chef prepared our meals in the kitchen. Each pizza was hand crafted and baked to perfection. The crust was thin with the perfect combination of crunch and chewiness to it.
