This is a great little place where sushi literally travels around on a conveyor belt and you can pick and choose what you want. Each plate you take from the conveyor belt is color coded to match a specific price so you save your mini plates and tally them up at the end for your total. If you don't want anything on the conveyor belt, you can order from their tablet which has pictures of everything they have to offer which is helpful for people like me who need to see what it is they're ordering. Obviously sushi is their main menu but you can get edamame or french fries and maybe a couple of other appetizers that suit a more American palate. They serve a select few alcoholic beverages and they have some desserts as well. I would say prices are very reasonable but that also depends on what you choose. They take Yen as well as Visa for sure. Definitely a place worth checking out if you're in the...
Read moreWe dined in at Sushi Go-round kaito, first when you arrive, depending on how packed it is,there's a book where you write your name and how many people you are with, then someone will get you and show you your table.
After you sit down they will give you your cutlery and you can pick anything from the Sushi on the belt or you can make orders on the provided iPad on your table.our order took less than 5 minutes and everything taste good so go when you are hungry.
A lot of the sushi is with seafood, they have fried, boiled, seared and all kinds of raw sushi, alternatives for vegetarians are available but I didn't see a large selection.
There is a restroom and the place seems to be wheelchair friendly, they also have feeding chairs for kids and they have udon, fries and fried chicken which i consider to be child friendly. After dining there 3times, you get a 1000 yen discount...
Read moreThis restaurant is walkable from the monzen gate to base, so it is very accessible. The staff is always very friendly and treats our family well. Toddler friendly as well. It is significantly more expensive than other conveyor belt sushi in town. I think it is worth it for the location (it is walkable for my family, and the calm environment/great staff and chefs.) It is a much better experience than a place like HAMA because it is quieter, more laid back and more personable with the chefs hanging you plates as opposed to just the belt with no human interaction. I will continue to frequent here but will also visit other places in town when we are looking for a cheaper/quicker sushi dinner. Try the matcha sundae for dessert! They take...
