“Visiting the Izumisano Gyokyo Aozora Fishery Cooper’s Market was an experience that truly enriched my trip. This market is a hidden gem that offers an authentic glimpse into the local culinary culture, far removed from the tourist-centric spots downtown. One piece of advice for potential visitors: make sure to arrive early! The market and its eateries start winding down by 3 pm, and you definitely don’t want to miss out on what they have to offer. What sets this market apart is not just the freshness of the seafood but also the incredibly reasonable pricing. It’s refreshing to find a place that caters more to the locals than to tourists, offering quality goods and meals at prices that are truly meant for everyday folks. The variety of seafood available is stunning, and everything I tasted was deliciously fresh, showcasing the best of what the local waters have to offer. The atmosphere of the market is vibrant and bustling, filled with friendly vendors who are happy to share their knowledge and passion for seafood. Dining at one of the market’s eateries provides not just a meal, but an immersive experience, allowing you to savor the local flavors that are hard to find anywhere else. Izumisano Gyokyo Aozora Fishery Cooper’s Market is a must-visit for anyone looking to escape the tourist traps and dive into an authentic, local food experience. With its unbeatable combination of freshness, affordability, and genuine charm, this market deserves no less than five stars. Don’t forget to arrive early to make the most of your visit!”

I recently visited Izumisano Gyokyo Aozora Fishery Cooper's Market in Osaka and had an amazing experience! This market is a seafood lover's paradise, brimming with fresh, locally sourced fish, shellfish, and more. The market itself has a charming, rustic vibe with a lively atmosphere. It's well-organized, and the vendors are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They were more than happy to offer samples and share cooking tips, which made the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my visit was the sushi shop inside the market. The sushi was unbelievably fresh and delicious, made right in front of you with the day's catch. It was a true treat to enjoy such high-quality sushi in a casual, bustling market setting. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and freshness of the seafood. The market is also conveniently located and easy to get to with public transportation. Overall, Izumisano Gyokyo Aozora Fishery Cooper's Market is a must-visit if you're in Osaka. Whether you're looking to buy fresh seafood to cook at home or enjoy a meal at the sushi shop, this market offers a fantastic, authentic experience. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to Osaka!

Hidden gem alert! This fish market in Japan is a seafood lover’s dream—super fresh, straight-from-the-sea catch without the touristy chaos. Unlike the bigger markets, it’s calm, local, and way more enjoyable to explore. You’ll find everything from sashimi, oysters, scallops, uni, to juicy clams—all beautifully presented and generously priced. Vendors are incredibly friendly and often throw in discounts before you even think to ask. Grab a bite and chill in a cozy corner there, or stroll just 30 meters to enjoy your feast with a million-dollar ocean view. Absolute win!

You won’t find a cheaper fish market in Osaka than here. This place is a local favorite - an actual market where local restaurants shop for fresh ingredients at super cheap price - and some sellers even give you further discounts! Just keep in mind that the BBQ service isnt available in the afternoon so if you’re traveling you may as well want to avoid buying raw ingredients unless you have a place to cook them yourself

A nice walk from the station to this fish market. The food selections are adequate varieties. We ate at one of the sushi outlet inside the market. The don we ordered in my opinion is a little thin on the slice. Freshness wise is acceptable. Good to stop by if you have time to spare before flight as the airport is close by.
