Kamogawa Craft Beer (Kamogawa Brewery) — Restaurant in Kamogawa

Nice to see a trendy establishment operating in the 21st century! Family friendly atmosphere, situated right on the beach. Beautiful sunset scenes!

The complex consists of a couple of shops and restaurants cooking up locally caught seafood.

The brewery is the focus of this review.

The building is well finished, modern decor and ambient lighting. The ground floor consists of a bakery and viewing area where you can take a peak at the beer brewing process while choking on a sticky bun. The 1st floor being the restaurant.

I ordered the fish and chips, pretty good all rounder! Fresh fish, crispy batter and crunchy chips with saucy sides.

My wife got the Margherita pizza which was unfortunately raw. This item was removed from our bill which was fair enough however it's not the most complex of pizzas to screw up.

The staff could benefit from a bit of training. There was a strong sense of constant confusion throughout our visit. This aspect was disappointing.

In a nutshell, Great potential, just get your staff up to speed with some professional training and split the X6 person tables into a x2 and X4 configuration.

先日　孫の３歳の誕生日に鴨川シーワールドのバースデーチケットで1日の遊び周りましが　夜になり「やはりケーキでお祝いしてあげたいよね」という話になり　アチコチ探しましたが　見つからず　半ば諦めかけていたところ娘がこちらのお店に状況を話した所　なんとバースデープレートを急遽作ってくださるということでお願いいたしました。メニューにあるティラミスにちょっとプレートで作ってくださるという話でしたが　運ばれてきたものを見てビックリ！とても豪華なプレートを急にも関わらず作ってくださいました！大きなお皿にのったティラミスには花火が刺さっておりフルーツでデコレーションした上にチョコとラズベリーソースで　happybirthdayと書かれており　かなり豪華なもので　思わずウルウルしてしまいました。 店内　他のお客様もいらっしゃることから　ササッと一応用意したお誕生日のメガネや帽子を被り　皆で小声でハッピーバースデーの歌ったところ　なんと！店内BGMにハッピーバースデーの歌を流してくださいました！ お料理も美味しかったのですが　お店の方の対応がとても良く　孫がお水をこぼしてしまい　ちょっとだけ洋服を濡らしてしまった所　やはり店員さんが　さり気なくブランケットを持ってきてくださいました。 海好きの我々としては　お気に入りの場所ではあったのですが　より一層お気に入りの場所となりました。 この場をお借りして　改めて感謝をお伝えしたいと思います。 その節対応してくださったお店の皆様　本当にありがとうございました！ また伺わせて頂きます。
