Strong, quality coffee. The decor and space was extremely minimal and trendy too which we loved as it felt so different to anywhere else we have been in rural Japan. We are from the UK and it felt almost like we were back in Europe. We also had two scones which were super tasty. A little pricey, but as an independent coffee roasters we can understand why....

It was a sunny winter afternoon. I drove from Sandai to Zao and found this coffee roaster. This is a small hut located in the countryside. The vibe is very neat and cozy. The coffee was good. Tried the dessert too and it was also delicious. If I were not in a hurry, I would love to spend an...

Strong, quality coffee. The decor and space was extremely minimal and trendy too which we loved as it felt so different to anywhere else we have been in rural Japan. 山道の道中に貸別荘とかあるなぁ。。 の、途中にあるので「あっ！！」ってなります。 ですが流石山の中。自然に囲まれ、店内も木を生かしたおしゃれな雰囲気で素敵でした。 私は水出しコーヒーとクリームブリュレ。 水出しはコーヒーの香りがと苦味などが優しく感じ取れて好きなんですが、ここのはとっても良い塩梅でした。 ブリュレは硬めでシンプルに美味しいって感じです。 連れのカプチーノがなんかが出てきた時、 そうになってて見栄えから美しかったです。 スコーンはモサモサすぎずフワッとすぎず、 一番好きでした。 フィナンシェもサクッと感がありながらもしっとりしていて、バターの香りも感じられとても美味しかった。こっちにすればよかったって思いました(笑) 男性店員はやること終えたら腰掛けて携帯いじってて流石に目立つなーとは思いますが、 水出しコーヒーとスコーン&フィナンシェがとても好きだったので目を瞑ります。 とはいえ、また行きたいとは思いました。 今度は売り切れてたティラミスを。
