An old primary school transformed for lodging, those long corridor type that appears in Doraemon. Washroom is in the middle near entrance, a good back in time to kindergarten with low water basins. Hot bath operates on limited hours but sufficient.
Host Maiko is very friendly and always with a cheerful smile, with limited English knowledge we still managed to interact. Her children has invited friends to dine so the cheerful atmosphere. We were fortunate to meet Mr Kawabata and his wife from Osaka that offers the kids to make delicious Takoyaki for dinner and chat through the evening. This 2 retirees stay here at least twice every year.
