高千穂峰に登った後で、お茶する所が無いかと探していると、雰囲気の良さそうなカフェを見付けた。 夏の時期、かき氷が食べたいと思っていたら、高千穂峰を模したような抹茶かき氷に黒蜜や練乳を掛けたり、更にはあんこと一緒に食べられるかき氷があったので入ってみた。 フワッと柔らかな食感のかき氷に、黒蜜と練乳が超越に美味しかった。 途中であんこと一緒に食べると、味も食感も変化するので、飽きさせない。 ボリューミーで900円の値段も満足行く。 一見、お値段も敷居も高そうな感じだが、値段も納得行くし、スタッフも気さくなので是非立ち寄ってみては如何だろうか。 珈琲のティーバックも販売しているので、登山前に購入し、山頂で飲むことも出来る。 お店の中に1574の数字があるが、店舗名と関係している高千穂峰の標高だ。 珈琲豆の選定も含め、何かとこだわりのあるお店である。 店舗は開放的な空間で、小上がりのような空間と、土間のような空間にそれぞれテーブル席がある。 ちなみに、外観の写真を撮った後で気付いたが、スタッフがピースサインで写ってた。 一見寡黙なのかとも思えたが、フランクな若者なので、メニューやお店のこだわりなど聞いてみては如何だろうか。

Very nice coffee that would definitely blow your mind! The barrister has provided us with excellent recommendations on the coffee beans. We enjoy both drip coffee and caffe latte a lot - one of the best ones we had in Japan!!! The vibe is very cozy and it’s a good place to rest and calm yourself down with a cup of good coffee! 咖啡非常甘甜，有別於平常（過度）Roasted 口感，如果你和我一樣愛喝blue bottle, 你一定要試試⋯因為更好喝😁

Best espresso we had during a two week trip to Japan; Tokyo, Kyoto, Kyusu Region so Ok we didn't cover the whole entire coutry. Place is super cool and a fantastic treat after hiking the Takachihonomine Ridge Trail. If you are there, you owe it to yourself to stop in...

Wow, this place rocks. Only in Japan would you find a cafe with such refined products in a parking area for tourists. The barista was really knowledgeable and welcoming....
