After living in Kobe for a little over a year, I finally made my way to Suma beach for the first time and had to have a hot dog from Copenhagen - as was recommended by some friends. It did not disappoint! From the moment we entered and were greeted by Hansen’s lively attitude, to the historical photo album he showed us of his old restaurant in Okayama, to - of course - the food itself! An amazing experience that is half due to Hansen’s personality and half due to the delicious food he serves. I ordered a salami sandwich and Christian dog - and devoured both easily. The sandwich had some crunch from the fried onions and the flavors were perfect. The hot dog had melted cheese and a sauce that was amazing. My partner ordered the Inaba dog and had nothing but praise for it. I will absolutely come back here whenever I’m in Suma, and I highly recommend anybody else to come check...

The hot dog (tasty) was good for a vegetarian but then the man yelled at us and grabbed my friend. It is common sense for EVERYONE to buy a hotdog if you sit down at my shop he said.
