If you’re in the area, eat here. If you’re a little out of the way, create an itinerary around eating here. If you can’t speak Japanese have Google translate “may I please have the lunch special” for you or just point at the big picture on the menu and bow. The Tofu Gozen was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend if you want to have a yummy meal with lots of different dishes and a delicious soy pudding to finish with.

This is the best place I have eaten in Japan. They make everything them self, also tofu! All the small dishes make you taste many different ways of using soybeans as well as vegetables. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend you to go here. Especially if you love tofu, or want to try some very local and...

大吊橋〜筌の口温泉で立ち寄り湯に入り、こちらでお昼。 ■鉄釜豆腐御膳 享保13年(1728年)〜という歴史ある温泉に浸かった後に美味しい豆腐料理を頂きました。 まずは七輪が出てきて「厚揚げ、豆腐、団子」を炭火で炙って頂きます。 特製の味噌が2種類、ゆず味噌が良かったなぁー！！ 焼き上がる頃に御膳がやって来ました。 ざる豆腐や天ぷらに豆乳、豆乳ゼリー、それに呉汁も美味しかった。 なぜか「さしみこんにゃく」があるのですが、これは群馬県からと言ってご主人は笑ってました。 それ以外は地物だそうです。 結構しっかりボリュームがあってどれも美味しかったですねー。 ご飯と呉汁がお代わり出来たら最高だったんですけどね〜
