Tsukinowa — Restaurant in Komagane

This was our first time back for a while and the menu had changed considerably (for the better!) since we were here last. As before though, the smell of good cooking hits you as soon as you walk through the door.

I ordered the ebi with bacon and herbs and it was absolutely wonderful. My wife wasn't quite so enthusiastic about the mentaiko shirasu takana, but I noticed that she didn't leave any, either.

The bacon was so good that a friend and I shared a whole, separate plate of it between the two of us. It's a lovely, mild "sakura" smoked flavour which is just perfect.

The individual rice bowls are cooked as you order them, so there's a guaranteed wait of about twenty minutes for most of the dishes on the menu. The inside is warm and comfortable though, so with good company and the mouth-watering fragrances it really is...

It was a lovely, quaint experience. The kamameshi were delicious. I had the salmon and bacon option while hubby had the wagyu beef option. The side dishes were the shout outs. Hubby loved the soup. I liked the grilled tofu. A wonderful way to spend the evening. There’s parking outside the wood cabin. I can imagine it’s not easy to get here...

コメント追加です8/25 いつもとても美味しく頂いてます、今日はとてもお忙しく ご飯が硬く半生でした、水分が足りないと言うか、ポロポロでした、向かい側に座って居た方も｢お米が硬いね｣と聞こえてきました、後半のお客様は上手く炊き上がっていなかった可能性があります、通っていて初めてで滅多に無いことで、たまたまだと思いますが、来月も又行きます。

毎月　月替わりが楽しみです。5月は｢つぶ貝のにんにく・バターソテー釜飯定食｣でした、30日に行ったのでギリギリ滑り込みで月替わりを食べることが出来ました。貝もしっかり入って歯応えあり、良質な貝でした、味もくどくなくとても美味しかったし、付け合わせも　ホント店主のこだわりと努力が感じられます。毎回チャイを注文しますが、こんなに美味しいスパイスチャイを飲めるのはこの辺りでは月ノ輪さんくらいですね。ネパール料理屋さんでも出していますが、薄めているのでホント美味しいチャイを飲みたい方はここで味わって欲しいですね、ココアもとても濃くて美味しいです。混むのでいつも行くときはランチもディナーも開店同時に訪れるお客様が帰る頃に伺うと上手...
