We cycled all around Kyushu and this was by far, the best champon we had. I loved the broth and squid. This restaurant may appear small but it serves great champon.

熊本県上益城郡甲佐町大字下横田831【ラーメン大和】さんにお邪魔です。 駐車場はお店の目の前に駐車出来ますよ！ 店内はカウンター席とテーブル席があります。 オーダー ・焼きめしセット→1100円 ・麺の大盛り→100円 ◯ラーメン マー油の効いた豚骨ラーメンで、大盛りにしたのでボリュームも満点！少し甘みあるスープが特徴的で具材はチャーシュー、煮卵、キクラゲ、青ネギ。 ◯焼きめし パラパラ系の炒飯と違いやはり焼きめし！チャーシューの味がしっかりなんで米全体に味が染みわってます。 ◯小鉢 胡瓜、トマト、キャベツのサラダ、キムチ、春雨とラーメン屋さんには珍しい小鉢が付いてました！ ボリューム的には大盛りにしたので、問題無いですが地方のラーメン屋さんとしてはお値段はけっこうしますがお客さんも多く賑わってました！ご馳走様でした！

行って来ました～甲佐町「ラーメン大和」さんへ～～。今回はちゃんぽんを食べに～～。 期待の涌き出る看板を見ながらイザ店内へ。食事券購入後カウンター席へ。厨房では女将さんらしき方が調理されてました。 来ました～～私の「麺・大盛ちゃんぽん」～(早いヨ早いヨ)。大きめ器に大きめザク切りキャベツが印象的です。他具材や海鮮も適度に入って炒まり具合もいい感じ。麺は普通のちゃんぽん麺より白くやや細い印象です。スープは豚骨ベース？、味付は自分好みで最後まで美味しく頂きました。 合計千円(ちゃんぽん850円プラス麺150円)の食事となりました。次はラーメンに挑戦！と思いつつお店を後にしました。以上で～す。

Don't be fooled by appearance and location; this ramen shop in a tiny rural farming town has the best bowl of ramen we've had anywhere in Japan.
