We took a stopover from our long drive and were greeted with impeccable service, lovely tasty tea, coffee and cakes. The decorations were so rustic and sweet and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

小さい頃から気になっていた道端の看板。 夜の営業はしていないみたいで、仕事が終わってから向かうのは不可能だったが、先日ようやく立ち寄ることができた。看板に気づいてから、20年も経ってしまった。 車通りが少ないのもあって、道の真ん中にワンちゃんが２匹気持ちよさそうに寝ていたので店の場所を探す心配はすぐに無くなった。 作業をしていたのか、店主と奥様らしき人が楽しそうに会話をしており、私の車を見て奥様が店へ案内してくれた。 店内への階段を登るとスリッパが数足用意されており、それを履いて入店した。 中に入ると、雑貨や蜂蜜、ケーキや「走るにわとりの卵」など、驚くほどの品々な私を出迎えてくれた。 食事をするホールのセンスも良く、一棟のみのコテージでこの空間を独り占めしたくなるほどの良店であった。 いつかここで宿泊をさせていただきます。
