Strategically located midway up Hirafu, King Bell is a very popular location at lunch time. But its great value for money and has wide variety of traditional dishes and a few Western dishes to cater for the growing populations from Australia and abroad. Simple food on the mountain. Ate here pretty much every weekend. It's one of only a couple of restaurants on the mountain so gets very busy at times and it's hard to find a table. I honestly don’t know what people are complaining about. I got the tonkatsu Ramen with a free ice tea drink, and a coffee at totaled out to about ¥2800. The place was really warm and the people were really helpful. It’s literally the fast food Ramen shop on top of a ski mountain. I loved it because there’s nothing like it in the US.
