I feel genuinely terrible for them but not in a rude way. Their restaurant is absolutely delicious and they are extremely nice. Their restaurant is in a very secret we location where not many tourists will visit and even locals may miss. The restaurant is owned by an elderly couple and they are the staff. The old man takes the orders and he is so nice asking about our ethnicity as we are foreigners. We got the daily special and rice bills and chicken Karagge, all dishes were extraordinary and amazing for the price. The food is high quality although the prices are so cheap. I wish I could be able to boost their restaurant and help them make it better but as a foreigner I can’t and I don’t have anything to help them. If you’re reading this please tell your friends and family to come and boost their business.

Easy to find, however unassuming as it appears to be within a residential area. The owners were super helpful and kind. As non Japanese speaking travellers we use the Translate app, but the owner had pictures of each meal and a menu hand written in English. We could also pick out out our sushi ingredients from the window, so that was amazing. The food was fabulous, I have never had Such amazing fried scallops before, sushi was fresh and made in front of you, and we had crumbed fried prawns too…just all round delicious. We had our food as take away…a 2 minute walk from our hotel, and it was wrapped so beautifully. Presentation was as good as the food!!!!

Let me start by saying I do not speak any Japanese. However, with that being said, the couple who owns the restaurant were so accommodating! They had a hand written English menu to assist us with ordering. This is hands down the best sushi and sashimi I’ve had in my life. The salmon was my favorite, but everything was absolutely incredible and fresh. The butter fried scallops alone should have a Michelin star. The service was phenomenal, and felt like I was at my grandparents house. If you’re in the area, do not skip this restaurant!

A Japanese friend brought us to this hidden gem of a restaurant—at first glance, it might not look like much from the outside. But the moment you step through the wooden doors, it’s as if you’ve been transported back in time—straight into 19th century Japan. The atmosphere is rich with nostalgia: wooden beams, vintage lanterns, and soft melodies that echo through the quiet space.

The restaurant is run by an elderly couple who are more than just owners—they are the guardians of tradition, timekeepers preserving a slice of history with quiet devotion. The menu is hand-written with care, each character inked with love and intention, and the food—oh, the food—is a celebration of freshness and simplicity, just like how it was prepared generations ago.

Dining here isn’t just about the meal; it’s about stepping into a living memory, where time slows down and the heart feels full. This isn’t just dinner—it’s your ticket to a...
