A Japanese friend brought us to this hidden gem of a restaurant—at first glance, it might not look like much from the outside. But the moment you step through the wooden doors, it’s as if you’ve been transported back in time—straight into 19th century Japan. The atmosphere is rich with nostalgia: wooden beams, vintage lanterns, and soft melodies that echo through the quiet space.
The restaurant is run by an elderly couple who are more than just owners—they are the guardians of tradition, timekeepers preserving a slice of history with quiet devotion. Read moreI feel genuinely terrible for them but not in a rude way. Their restaurant is absolutely delicious and they are extremely nice. Their restaurant is in a very secret we location where not many tourists will visit and even locals may miss. The restaurant is owned by an elderly couple and they are the staff. The old man takes the orders and he is so nice asking about our ethnicity as we are foreigners. We got the daily special and rice bills and chicken Karagge, all dishes were extraordinary and amazing for the price. The food is high quality although the prices are so cheap. I wish I could be able to boost their restaurant and help them make it better but as a foreigner I can’t and I don’t have anything to help them. If you’re reading this please tell your friends and family to come and boost...

The food was fabulous, I have never had Such amazing fried scallops before, sushi was fresh and made in front of you, and we had crumbed fried prawns too…just all round delicious. We had our food as take away…a 2 minute walk from our hotel, and it was wrapped so beautifully. Presentation was as good as...
