Tonami — Restaurant in Kuwana

Located pretty much in the middle of nowhere, this little restaurant specializes in Tempura. There are spots at the counter to sit and eat and there are about 4 tables you can sit at if you take off your shoes.

The recommendation was the Miso Tempura Don. I got the one with 1 shrimp and 8 vegetables with an addition of a tempura egg.

Everything arrived quickly and was hot and delicious. The set included Miso soup, a small plate of pickles, and a dish with chopped green onions and wasabi for me to add to my Ten-Don at my leisure. There was also a small container of Dashi that I could add aswell if I wanted.

Everything was really delicious, and all of the vegetables were cooked really well. Unfortunately one of the tempura vegetables was Myoga which is basically a hunk of ginger. It wasn't bad, just not tasty to me.

Anyways, 10/10...

2024年12月お昼過ぎに訪問。 味噌天丼(松)と卵の天ぷらをトッピングで注文。 卵の天ぷらは160円位だったと思います。

ご飯は大盛り無料だったため大盛り注文。男性ならペロリといける量だと思います。

天ぷらで味噌は始めてだったのですが美味しくいただけました。

半分食べたら出汁茶漬けにして食べる方法をお勧めされたので実施しましたが味噌ダレの量が少なく此方はイマイチでした。もう少しタレが欲しかったです。

多くのレビューに胃もたれしないと有りましたが、やはり天ぷらは揚げ物なので若干胃もたれしました(笑) ただスーパーや某うどん屋のトッピングの天ぷらと比べると確かに軽いとは思います。 それにやはり歳には勝てませんね。 次回は天ぷらの量が少ないものを注文したいと思います。

帰りのレジ待ちの際、前のお客さんが天かすをたぶん無料でお持ち帰りされていました。 次回訪問時、晩御飯のメニュー次...

兎波さん何度か空振ってようやく初来店！祝日の11時20分ほどに到着して3番手もう開店しておりました 自分は野菜味噌天丼の大盛り卵天ぷらトッピングで相方は味噌天丼の松を注文！30分ほどで提供されましたそこそこ待つ感じですなので早めの来店をオススメします！ 楽しみにしていた味噌天丼めちゃ美味しかったです！ちょっと大葉の天ぷらの衣が分厚くてくどいなという印象はありましたがエビもプリプリで最高でしたし大満足でした！ただ大盛りで注文しましたがご飯はそこまで多くはないむしろ物足りなく感じるかも？ おちょこに入ってるダシとワサビでお茶漬け風にすると美味しいらしいですがご飯足りなかったので自分はやりませんでした 店内は広くはありませんが綺麗で落ち着いた雰囲気で良い感じですコスパも良いと思いますしまた...
