I went to Kyoto during the New Year’s holiday in January 2024, went for a short hike, and found this cute little place at the end of the trail.
This shop is a perfect place to sit and enjoy a peaceful moment in the mountains. Their Omurice and udon were simple but perfect. I also loved the vibe and atmosphere there, as they still turn on the radio to listen to music. When I was there, I remember the radio playing “Yesterday Once More” by the Carpenters, which made me feel nostalgic for my childhood.
The owner is so cute and kind; she gave me a small gift for New Year's Day. It’s a sake cup. (I think they also do pottery and made the cup by themselves)
Thank you for making one of my peaceful New Year...

I cannot recommend the experience enough. The surrounding area is so tranquil...
