Ezumiya — Restaurant in Minamiuonuma

A group of 4 people including a child visited on a Tuesday night at around 7pm. The restaurant didn't have any customers when we visited. My friend said usually this place is crowded on friday nights. After about 30 minutes people started coming and the place got crowded. The staff was friendly and helped us select items from the menu. There was no english menu and I don't think the staff spoke English as well. The food was good and portion sizes were big. We couldn't find some of the rice we ordered. Sorry. 予約したのに、店がすごく混んでるので15分ぐらい待たなきゃ。玄関の前にずっと立ったが店員さんは一人でも案内してくれなかった。私のグループ(6人)だけではなくて、他の2人のお客様も同じ場合であった。忙しいのはわかったけど、少なくとも「少々お待ちください。後でご案内いたします」とか言われる方がいいじゃん？そして、何回も頼んだけど、飯は全部届いたのにお冷は全然届かなかった。食べ終わる前に丁度届いた。食事は美味しいけど、サービスは最低(店員さんは皆イライラみたい、ケンカしたかな？）。日本にはどこの店に行ってもサービスはすごかったと思うけど、今回はそんなに失礼で全然フレンドリーサービスを始めて経験したのは本当にムカツクだ。2度と行きたくない。

the food is good but the service is very terrible when we visit the shop. the shop was very crowded when we came but it was not the excuse for the staff to totally ignore us when we were standing in front of the shop, waiting to be seated. i work in restaurant before and i never ignore my customer. at least i will go to them and ask them to wait for awhile before seating them. we asked for the water like several times but the staff didnt even bring it to our table. they only bring it when we almost finish our meals. i never experienced this kind of service during my 6 years in japan. this...
