Yuki-bolo — Restaurant in Misaki

So if you think you are in the wrong place you are probably there. My wife had found the bakery and the closer we got to it the more I was feeling like we were on a wild goose chase. Fortunately we spotted the small blue sign on the side of the road. We parked rather than drive down the steep, narrow driveway. A wise decision on my part as a result of previous experience on narrow roads (which my wife directed me to go down). After walking down we came to the bakery and met it's proprietor/master Baker Yuki. We got a chance to see the still warm oven in the back. The bread looked beautiful and as there was a good selection it was difficult to make a choice. As my children were hungry we ate there and were impressed with the deliciousness of the bread. We ended up getting a second bag of bread to both eat there and to bring back to share with family at home. We are very happy to have found this place. I absolutely love gems like this that provide an outstanding product at very reasonable prices. We look forward to returning soon. P.s. My girls lived feeding...

県道江与味上河内線の途中から西に入る細い市道を通り、どんつきの集落にある石窯パン屋さんです。 市道の途中から幅員が狭くなるので、離合が難しい場所もあり、運転に不馴れな人には厳しいかもしれません。最後の最後に市道から南へ下る道の先に緑の屋根の店舗がありました。かなり急勾配で細い道なので、遊歩道かと思ったらなんと車が進入可能な道路でした。 まさかこんな場所にと疑うほど、ポツンと一軒家な店舗でした。進入路入口の東側100m手前のカーブは市道の幅員が広く、短時間なら停められそうです。 それでも、ここの石窯パンを食べる価値はあると思います。 ライ麦50とリュスティックチーズは、スライスして軽く炙ると、ビールの摘みにもなりました。 メイプルピーナッツと餡パンは、どちらもほんのり甘く、朝食にもおやつにもぴったりです。 どれも、ほかのパン屋さんにはなかったような美味しさでしたが、特にライ麦パンは、塩気が少なく、癖のある臭いがないので、食べやすかったです。 途中にある製材所で積み降ろしするトラックと離合する場合があるので注意が必要です。 交通量の少な...

雪ボロさんは土曜日だけの営業なのでなかなか休みが合わなくて2年ぶりの再訪です。 前回岡山の温泉めぐりの時に偶然見つけたお店ですが本当に山奥なので驚きました。お店は 絵本に出てくるような こじんまりとした 素敵なお店です。ただ 私は 神戸在住で近くに美味しいパン屋さんがたくさんあるので、生意気ですが岡山の田舎のパン屋さんだからと味には期待してなかったので、1度目の時は商品を3点ほどしか 買いませんでした。山を降りて 適当なところに車を停めてパンを食べたところ驚きました。小麦の香ばしい香り。素敵な 薪の香り。 今までこんなパンは食べたことがありません。もっとたくさん買っておけば良かったと後悔しました。そして今回 やっと再訪できたのでたくさん買わせていただきました。 やはり素敵な香り、 こだわりの ハードパンは中途半端ではなくしっかりと製作者の哲学が感じられます。 家に帰るまで 車の中はパンの香ばしい香りでいっぱいでした...
