Kona's Coffee Miyazaki — Restaurant in Miyazaki

Normally this restaurant is on point but today the staff just seemed completely lackadaisical. The wait list and lobby was piled up with guests.... and there were like four open tables and entire counter c9mpletely OPEN. The hostess didn't seat us ot any if the waiting guests in a timely manner.

Not sure if they were understaffed or what but I've never seen a restaurant with such low energy staff before. Only one of the waitresses even bothered to smile or show any sign of positive emotion / energy. They were all moving at the speed of racing snails.🤣

It's like there weren't any managers present...

The food however came out timely once finally seated and was absolutely delicious! The place has a great atmosphere too, other than the low...

As a Hawaii native, I thought the food was ok. The spicy poke was pretty bad though (sweet chili sauce shouldn't be used in poke imho). I didn't get to try the pancakes, which is what they're known for. I'll have to try it next time.
