Coffee-kan Oboke — Restaurant in Miyoshi

Wonderful little cafe/ restaurant, Oboke Bay. We were staying at Manaka Ryokan nearby, an this place was a short 10 minute drive away. The lovely woman who runs this knows a little English, ( very limited) but enough to converse on a basic level. The food was delicious, simple home made style. Her donburi chicken curry was amazing, plus they did a great wild deer over rice. Also spaghetti and sauce, french fries and pancakes, great if you have little ones. She loved our little baby (11months) and even fed him for us whilst we ate our dinner, as we were there before other customers. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch and dinner, especially if your hotel charges a lot to eat thier...

MUST COME HERE WHEN VISITING OBOKE!! The wild deer rice bowl was made with pumpkin and onions and done so well. The restaurant owner makes all the food herself it felt homemade. The views are amazing here too. We walked from Oboke train station here to eat lunch and I was far from disappointed. Do yourself a favour come here and you will understand why I left...
