Aun — Restaurant in Motobu

We adore this cafe and the family that runs it. The place is up on the mountain and is quiet and beautiful. Menu is pizza and curry. Cheese cake and coffee are amazing. We have gone twice and both times left with beautiful pottery made by their father. His kiln is on the property and is pretty cool to see. His pottery is the best I have seen on island. True artistry. The mother and daughter who run the place are incredibly kind and sweet. We got a lot of good practice...

Was famished after visited Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in the morning and wanted to find a quite place for a late lunch. After driving around and checked Google map and found this gem - the old lady serving us spoke some English good enough for us to order a home-made pizza set with a great coffee and a curry rice with cheese and egg set. It was such a nice quite environment with a nice view and food was really good....

Such an awesome hidden gem. Follow small cat signs from Motobu and its a small cottage in the side of the road with an art gallery, clay sculptures and cups, and a beautiful restaurant. Honestly the best pizza I've had in a long time, curry was delicious, and the fluffy...
