I stopped here during Golden week and I was very happy I did. It was amazing to learn how they make the salt and they had a wide variety available. I highly recommend trying their salted soft-serve ice cream. The salt just elevated the taste of the ice cream and I couldn't stop eating it. The views are also spectacular and worth it.

とても気になっていたお店にやっと訪問❣️ 父の入院で帰省したのでずっと行って見たかったソルトアンドカフェさんまで遠出。 やっと着いた〜と思いクーラー効いたカフェの方へ。 おむすび目当てだったので迷わすオーダー。 海の眺めと控えめな塩むすび。 塩引の焼き鮭と自家製らしき梅干し〜 多分近くで作られてるであろうお豆腐にピンクのお塩🩷ゆで卵にも藻塩☆ プレートの中の塩梅がめっちゃ良き👍 日頃焼き魚の皮なんて残す私ですがパリパリに焼いてあるので全て頂けました🎵 往復2時間かかったけどまた9月の帰省時には必ず伺いたいです。 ☆一つ足りないのはパスタも食べたかったけど1人だったのでオーダーできなかったことと、塩工房の建物の奥にもカフェスペースあり海風受けながら食事できたのに〜とちょっと悔やまれたことです。 ご馳走様さまでした😋

笹川流れの塩を買いに来ました。 そのついでに塩ソフトを食べに来ました。 カフェは、やってなかったです。 店内に入ると、無愛想な感じの店員さんが「いらっしゃませ！」と、低い声で言ってきます。 悪い印象は無いです。 海側のテラス席で海を見ながら、ソフトクリームが食べられます。 個人的な感想です。 ソフトクリームは、甘ったるい感じのソフトクリームに塩がかかって提供になります。 塩は市販の塩に比べて塩辛さとかはないです。 追い塩も出来ます。 まあ、こんなもんかーみたいなソフトクリームです。 ソフトクリーム目当てでは行かないです。 次は、塩購入と、塩むすびを食べてみたいです。 余談ですが、道の駅で同じ塩を見ましたが、道の駅の方が数十円高かったです。

You have to come here for the view. It's the coolest ocean-side café I've ever been to and makes for a great spot to hang out with friends before hitting the beach. The food was above average, and the ice cream with salt was amazing.
