RRR Steak & Wine Joetsu Myoko 〜トリプルアール上越妙高〜 — Restaurant in Myoko

Food was acceptable but the restaurant was not accommodating customer’s needs. This is a restaurant attached to the APA hotel jyoetsu myoko. When I called the hotel in advance, I was told that we could come to the restaurant without a reservation and we could order a menu or a la carte. When I checked in, I was told the same and was shown a la carte menu. Since my husband is not eating much in evenings (only salad or light meal), he could not eat steak dinner. I explained this to the restaurant when we tried to book a table and thought it was accommodated (he is ordering a la carte) When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that only a steak dinner was available, not a la carte, even salad. We ended up me ordering a full menu and my husband was drinking APA craft beer ...while I was eating. Very disappointing experience as this place seemed only decent eating spot in the area.
