This restaurant, run by the mother-son duo, Junko-san and Masa-san, is one of the most welcoming places I've been to. Despite my limited Japanese, they greeted me warmly, making me feel right at home. Despite dining alone, they reserved a spot for me at the hot table where I could watch them cook okonomiyaki in front of me.
I requested a vegetarian option without lard or meat, and they graciously accommodated my request. Masa-san, the young chef, also offered helpful advice on visiting a hiking site, while his mother, Junko-san, treated me to some delicious sweet daikon.
