Yakitori no meimon Akiyoshi Nagahama — Restaurant in Nagahama

Long drive from central Shizuoka, so settled for yakitori next door for dinner. As I stepped in, smoke got in my eyes (no pun intended) — their fire from the grill was huge! Sat at the counter, and thankfully, they had an English menu (albeit not updated we were told). The place had a lively vibe; orders were placed loudly and diners chatted boisterously. Many options to choose from; all were good especially their deep-fried; “since when was deep fried no good” — said someone famous. Many sticks came with specific sauces too. Affordable and delicious Takitori restaurant. It’s always packed. We were lucky to get two counter seats without reservations. We spent 5351 yen for more than 40 sticks of yakitori and other dishes.

あまりこのようなマイナス投稿はしたくないのですが、 来店した日にレジ担当していた方の接客が残念で腹が立ちました。 今まで秋吉が大好きで旅行先に秋吉があると 必ず立ち寄っていましたが、 もう秋吉に行きたく無いと思わされた店舗でした。 平日18時前に予約無しで1人で入店したところ カウンターが一杯なのでテーブル席で良かったらと言われるが、あからさまに『まさか1人でテーブル席に座らないよね？』と思われるようなニュアンスでした。 私はそのニュアンスを受け取った上で、 感じ悪いのであえてそれを逆手にとって 1人でテーブル席に座る予定でしたが(笑 いざテーブル席に座ろうとすると、 カウンターにどうぞと1度はカウンター埋まってると言われたのにカウンターに案内される。 (カウンターに座れるなら何故テーブル席に座らせようとした？悪意がある。) そしてメニューがカウンターに直置きだったので、 商品が来たらメニューの上に置いてしまう事になり、メニューが汚れてしまうとこちらなりの配慮で立て掛けた方が良いのかなと思い、立て掛けようとしたら、 『そこに串置くので‼︎』とメニューを置くなと言う意味ですかさず私に注意。 ここに関しては私が間違ってたのは分かったけど、 言い方があるでしょう...と来店から既に感じ悪い2連発。 そんな感じで客にはすぐに注意する癖に、 普通はお客さんが着席したらすぐに渡すおしぼりさえも渡されず、完璧に忘れられていました。 こちらが下さいと言ったらやっと頂けました。 感じ悪い3連発で折角の滋賀旅行最終日は嫌な思い出で終わってしましました。 秋吉自体も、もう二度と行きたく無いと思いました。 気分悪くて料理の味もボヤけてます。 初めて秋吉...
