My accidental discovery turned into a delightful experience at the A&W Restaurant in Naha.

We stumbled upon this gem when the ramen place we planned to dine at was packed, and our hunger couldn’t wait any longer. I instantly remembered A&W for their legendary root beer, which I absolutely love, and their iconic original root beer float.

The A&W burger was a delicious surprise, and those curly fries were the perfect companions. What a meal!

What made this visit even better was the peaceful atmosphere. Even during lunchtime, it wasn’t crowded, and the ample parking spaces were a relief. And let’s not forget the drive-thru service for those on the go.

But the real treat? Free refills of that incredible root beer! It truly made our experience here all the more enjoyable.

Cozy, clean little diner with very reasonable prices, especially with a favorable exchange rate. Basically fried chicken sandwiches and burgers, with available combo add-ons of various types of fries or mashed potatoes, and sodas, including (obviously) root beer. The fries are like McDonald’s in size, but seemed less greasy, which I liked but some might consider them too dry. The food isn’t amazing, but you know what you’re getting, it’s quick and easy, it’s a comfortable place to sit, and the prices are about as good as it’s going to get for a meal.

This place was an absolute blast! A genuinely fun and nostalgic dining experience. I realized it's been far too long since I've seen one of these restaurants around the states, which made it even more special. The fast food was surprisingly high quality, a cut above the usual.
