耶馬溪の自然に囲まれた「天雲龍」は、山と川の恵みを存分に味わえる特別なお店です✨

まず印象的だったのが 鮎の塩焼き 🐟 驚くほど大きく、香ばしく焼き上げられた鮎は皮はパリッと、中はふっくらジューシー。清流の恵みをそのまま閉じ込めたような美味しさでした。

続いていただいた 鹿肉の刺身 🦌 は、耶馬溪の山で獲れた新鮮なジビエ肉を使用。まったく臭みがなく、とても柔らかで上品な旨みが広がり、ジビエが苦手な方にも自信をもっておすすめできます。

さらに名物の もみじ鍋 🍲 は特製スープのコクがしっかり効いていて、煮込まれたうどんがスープを吸って茶色く染まり、もちもちとした食感と濃厚な味わいで箸が止まりませんでした。

店内は落ち着いた和の空間で、窓からは四季折々の耶馬溪の景色を楽しめます。特に春には満開の桜が窓一面に広がり、花見をしながら食事をしているような贅沢な時間を過ごせます🌸

店舗横には砂利敷きの広い駐車場があり、15台ほど停められるので車での来店も安心🚗

Surrounded by the beautiful nature of Yabakei, Tenryu is a must-visit restaurant where you can truly enjoy the blessings of the mountains and rivers✨

The highlight for me was the grilled ayu (sweetfish) 🐟 Surprisingly large in size, the skin was crispy and fragrant while the flesh remained fluffy and juicy. It perfectly captured the fresh taste of the river.

I also tried the venison sashimi 🦌, made with fresh game meat from the Yabakei mountains. It had no gaminess at all—just a tender texture and refined flavor, highly recommended even for those who are not used to eating venison.

Another specialty is the Momiji Nabe (venison hot pot) 🍲 The special broth was rich and flavorful, and the udon noodles simmered inside absorbed the soup beautifully, turning a deep brown with an irresistible chewy texture.

From the calm, traditional Japanese interior, you can enjoy the seasonal scenery of Yabakei. In spring, the windows frame breathtaking cherry blossoms in full bloom 🌸—an unforgettable dining experience.

There is also a spacious gravel parking lot right next to the restaurant with room for about 15 cars🚗, making it convenient for visitors by car.
