長堂屋 — Restaurant in Nakijin

We made a new year's eve dinner reservation through Facebook. When we got to the restaurant, no one was at the front door. There were about 6 or 7 people standing in the concierge area, very crowded. Finally after a few minutes, a waitress came by and we spoke Japanese so we were seated. There after everything was pretty chaotic. We had to ask for everything. I enjoyed the entire experience. I reserved a table through the reservation link on google. It was easy even for a non Japanese speaking/reading person. We got one of the larger shabu shabu sets and split that and then ordered rice and more meat and it was perfect for two people that weren’t super duper hungry. Very fresh Agu pork. Thinly sliced for a great bbq and shabu shabu experience.

Bbq us striaght forward. Shabu shabu: after you are done with it, they will bring a bowl of rice and stir it in with 1 egg to make a porridge. Quite a nice comfort food experience.

The sesame sauce is chargeable. Their english level is not high so there maybe some is some confusion.
