The best place to experience the authentic traditional vegetarian Okinawan food as it used to be before the current "everything-fried with pork" era. If you ever watched documentaries about Okinawa being part of the blue zone and how Okinawan food used to be linked to health and longevity, this is one of the only restaurants in Okinawa that still captures this spirit. The menu changes depending on the month and the available seasonal vegetables. We made it a habit to go there every month to try all sorts of local veggies and foods. ๐ I wish there were more of these amazing places in Okinawa. It is a beautiful structure that feels super serene. We didn't realise we were supposed to call in advance to pre-order vegetarian food but were lucky enough that she was able to accommodate us. She even boiled us a veggie soup from scratch, it was well worth the 30min (so I do recommend making reservations and telling them your dietary requirements beforehand).

The road on was slightly narrow and with a lot of parked cars.
Iโve ordered the set meal, which comes with rice, miso soup and 9 types of vegetables. The portions were just nice albeit slightly filling. It cost around 1700 JPY, which is reasonable. Parking is plentiful as well.
