Taisho Sushi — Restaurant in Nanao

I had one of the best sushi experiences at Taisho Sushi! I came alone for lunch on a Friday and was lucky they had an open table. They offer a nice lunch deal, but I went all in with the 14-piece omakase since I was super hungry. The fish quality was insanely fresh — honestly the best of my trip!!

Even though my Japanese is really limited, the waitress was extremely patient and kind. With each serving, she even brought out a tray with the fish themselves, showing me which nigiri matched which fish and the best way to eat it. That little detail made the whole meal even more special :D
