Neighbors — Restaurant in Nanjo

I recently stopped by Tex Mex Neighbor and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. I ordered the burrito, nachos, and quesadillas, and each dish really delivered on flavor.

The burrito was packed full and perfectly balanced — every bite had a great mix of seasoned meat, rice, and toppings without being too heavy. The nachos were loaded just right, with plenty of cheese and toppings spread evenly so every chip had something on it (a small detail, but one I really appreciate). And the quesadillas were perfectly toasted, gooey, and cheesy inside — simple, but done really well.

Overall, the food tasted fresh and flavorful, and it felt like true comfort food done right. The portions were generous, and the quality was consistent across all three dishes. If you’re craving hearty Mexican food with a Tex-Mex twist, Tex Mex Neighbor is definitely worth checking out.

The one and only draw back, was the seating situation, unfortunately it is more a grab and go style restaurant but still nevertheless fantastic! Perfect for an after Costco...

So good, we ate there twice! If you are looking for a genuine and authentic Mexican restaurant for the whole family, this is your place. Friendly staff and amazing food made with quality ingredients. Their homemade salsa Verde hotsauce is dynamite and a great addition to your meal if you are looking for some spice. Our family of 4 had a burrito bowl, chicken nachos, and 2 orders of 3 piece tacos. Both times the food was stellar. We wish we had time to come back for a third visit. When we come back to Okinawa, we will be sure to stop by for some great food. One thing to note is there is a restroom on site but this is mainly a take out restaurant. There is limited seating outside with 4 counter seats. Love...

Really tasty food, as one veggie and one fish only eater, this place was a godsend. Some of the nicest freshest veggie food in all of Okinawa. The fish taco was so good, make sure you get the jalapeno sauce. Maybe one day they will bottle it and sell the bottles. If their sit in option was available (think they were doing some DIY) I would have liked that, as I would have ordered more fish tacos, even though...
