Taikai — Restaurant in Nichinan

I tried to make reservation more than a month ahead for a large group but was rejected even though they are not fully booked up. I understand they might worry they can’t handle the crowd but I’ve been to this restaurant and seen many occupied tables of similar number of people. When I last visited, I even asked if they accept booking of like 18 people and they said it’s okay if we call early. But that time, we did not mentioned it’s for a group of foreigners. Even though we could pre-advice our food orders, they still rejected our request. When the province opens up to G7 summit, aren’t they also hoping for tourist to come too? It’s such a disappointment, given the restaurant is not...

We were on our way to Nichinan but the road was blocked due to landslide. We stopped by this restaurant for lunch. Delicious food and fresh lobster 😋😋 When we left, we asked for alternative route, one of the young chefs came out. He tried so hard to help and even called our hotel. At last, he suggested an interchange Tano IC, which is not yet shown on the map, which saved us at least 1/3 of the driving time. Thank you so so much for your kindness. We highly recommend...

ไปร้านนี้ตาม คุณมาร์ค วีน รสชาติอาหารถูกปากมากๆค่ะ เราสั่งเซ็ทไก่ทอดซอสนัมบัง กับซาชิมิ นัมบังร้านนี้ดีมากๆ คือกินมาหลายร้านทั้งในไทยและญี่ปุ่น ส่วนตัวชอบรสชาติของร้านนี้ที่สุด ตัวซุปที่ให้มาในเซ็ตคือ ดือออออออ มาก หอม กลมกล่อมสุดๆ ทานคู่กับข้าวแล้วสดชื่น ซาชิมิที่เราได้มาดรอปไปเลย เพราะตัวอื่นๆดีมากๆ😅 อีกอย่างที่ชอบของร้านนี้คือตัวเส้นหนึบๆที่เสิร์ฟก่อนมื้ออาหาร รสเปรี้ยวๆ กินแล้วสดชื่น เหมือนล้างปากเรา พร้อมเปิดรับรสแสนอร่อยที่จะตามมา แนะนำร้านนี้มากๆค่ะ ราคาไม่แพง บรรยากาศดีมากๆ นอกร้านเป็นลมทะเลชิลๆเลย ถ้ามีโอกาสไปมิยาซากิอีก จะกลับไปร้านนี้แน่นอน นี่คืออีกหนึ่งเหตุผลที่เราเลือกไปผ่านมิยาซากิเลย ดีมากๆอาหารเมืองนี้

The food here are incredible! Namban dish was the best Namban so far. Sashimi were fine but their soup was mind-blowing along the meal. I also love their small bowl of sour noodle before the meal. Just perfect to get your mouth ready for the delicious food. Really want to try other dishes as well and I would love to go back there if I have a chance. 👍🏼
