A little corner of another age on the edge of great hiking territory. The shop sells a wide variety of merchandise, as well as a list of nice food dishes. We went for the yuba soba and curry rice - both off which were good. Ambiance-wise, this is a place that feels like neither it, nor the scent of the kerosene heather. have changed much in decades. I find that very charming. You may or may not. One of the great things about this place is its location on the edge of the marshlands, with great hikes spread throughout the area. If you know Japanese, ask the elderly lady who definitely seems like the one in charge for recommendations. She's a treasure trove of knowledge about the local flowers and where to go for...

Came here for the hike and this restaurant is really close to the 赤沼station. I've heard that you need to try Yuba soba when you come to Nikko, so I tried it here. I tastes really good, sweet and tender tofu skin (yuba), and the soup made me feel like drinking all of it. Small restaurant, the price was not cheap though. Haven't tried other famous places so I couldn't compare, but it was good to me for...

Very unique old local restaurant with atmosphere. Tried a couple beers with yuba soba, and the miso konyaku. Stuffed fox, fish and all kinds of paraphernalia.

Head of the dragon ‘ryuzu’ waterfall is always beautiful in every season. You can walk along this waterfall for photo shots.
