J’ai la Patate is an absolute gem in Hokkaido. My husband and I came here during our honeymoon trip to Japan, and this meal ended up being one of the most memorable of our entire journey. The restaurant is intimate, with only a few tables, and the minimalist, clean design makes the perfect backdrop for a truly extraordinary dining experience.
The service alone deserves a Michelin star — warm, thoughtful, and deeply knowledgeable. Every dish was a work of art, with each bite somehow more delicious than the last. All of the ingredients are locally sourced from Hokkaido, and you can truly taste the freshness and quality in every bite.

No complaints on the beef and the dessert of peaches and jelly and earl gray ice cream was the ultimate end to a...
