TACOS YALOW — Restaurant in Nishihara

Absolutely fantastic.

We’re English and don’t speak Japanese and despite this we called, made a reservation and when we arrived they knew exactly who we were.

Their adorable son met us at the door and excitedly made sure we all had water.

We chatted through translation apps and learned all about the owners trip to Mexico where he learned his culinary skills.

The food was incredible, we had a lot of starters and then a mix of taco and burritos….all amazing…the Corona…with lime was a particular treat.

So attentive, delicious food and the son drawing us pictures of his favourite thing (elevators in case you were wondering) was a highlight…they even stood at the door and waved us off.

We’re only in Okinawa for 4 nights and so glad we came on a recommendation from a previous AirBNB guest.

普段はあまり馴染みの無いエリアなんですが、近くに用事があって、Googleサーチしたところ、最近マイブームな🌮タコス🌯ブリトーのお店を発見💡 沖縄(キンタコ/タコライス)系では無く、本場🇲🇽メキシコ風タコス店みたい👀

お昼🕛前なので、事前に電話📲でテイクアウト🥡注文→感じの良い女性が受けてくれた

指定された15分後に国道沿いのお店に伺うと店前に🅿️3台位有り、歩道とガードレールの関係で大型車だと少し窮屈そうな場所もあるが、自分は🚗小型車だったので🆗でした

外観は陽気な🇲🇽🌵メキシカン風、店内はDJテーブルも有り、一見🔫ギャングが屯してそうな格好良い喫茶🍸バー風⁉️ Instagramに👀出ていた、マンチーしてそうな⁈😎店主らしき人は見当たらず、たぶん📲電話に出られた女性の方1人が調理/接客/会計もしてくださいました

注文してたのは、1pc.¥380の🌮タコス(ビーフ・チチャロン・エビ)３種

紫玉葱たっぷりで肉類とのバランスも良く 好みのソフト系の皮で何れもとても美味しかったですが チチャロンと言う豚バラの素揚げみたいのとサルサソースとのマッチングがとても良く特に気に入りました👍 エビのフリッターも、食べる前は🦐フリッター？？と思ってましたが、食べてみると、とても美味しく頂きました⭐️⭐️⭐️

また機会あれば是非、他のメニューも色々と食べてみたい 本場🇲🇽風な雰囲気を上手く沖縄に取り入れてくれた🌮お店に出会えました♪

※追記 余韻で思い出す程に美味しかった為、翌日もtakeoutで再訪しちゃいました🚗💨

今回は、Instagramで👀観たMexico帰りの😎ファンキーな店主さんも居られて🧑‍🍳調理もされてたのにわざわざ出て来て頂き、少しお話しもする事が出来ました✌️ 今回は🌯ブリトー(チチャロン)も購入したのですが、 これもボリューム感満点で予想を上回る✨美味さ💯で大満足🌟今後は🌮🌯どちらにするか、毎回🧐迷いそう！

昨日買って美味しかった、エビフリッターとお気に入りのチチャロン🌮も再購入して 大学生の娘のランチに渡したのですが、彼女も一口目から「美味い❣️」と喜んでました😋

キチンと仕事された料理🌮🌯は勿論の事、 たっぷりと付けてくれるサルサソース、 分厚く大きな手拭きナプキン等、 本当に美味しく食べて欲しい🌟と言う気持ち、細かな気遣いが詰まっている気がします🙏

これからの展開も楽しみな、美味しい物好きな😎店主さんと、きっと素晴らしいサポートをしているのだろう素...

Que dellicioso! Probably on of the only Mexican restaurants in Okinawa that has corn tortillas. There's something to be said about the tacos here! Don't skip out on em that's for sure. The Chicharon tacos were the best! The fiance had the enchiladas and the beans along with the enchiladas are great. Definitely reminded this Tejano of home!...
