Beautiful modern and relaxing cafe. Amazing views! Super friendly staff too, they brought out some warm blankets for us sitting out on the terrace. Everything was delicious, loved the little toppings on the Udon. The matcha smoothie tasted like a delicious vanilla/matcha thick shake. Indoors, on every table there's a little tea roasting thing (like a tea light candle holder) that smells delicious. There's also complimentary cold local tea and cold butterfly pea tea! Note: There are a lot of mosquitos out on the terrace, even when it's only 15C.

The cafe (which is also a green tea farm) was recommended by our host and it was well worth coming here. The place has a fresh wooden decor and offers a great view of the valley from the terrace. The service was quick and they have carafes of cold green tea alongside water. The set menu had multiple small bites to try, all nicely presented. What stood out was the glazed mushroom and the green tea miso onigiri. As the desert they serve green tea mochi balls. Because they are a green tea farm, you can buy tea at their small shop

If you want an absolutely delicious meal with amazing views, this is the spot. All of the ingredients are grown locally, so you know it’s bound to be great. There are two all you can drink tea options: a chilled green tea and hot hochija. Yum! Try the desserts for sure—we visited in the spring, so they were sakura-themed. We did have to wait for around 30 minutes for a table even though it was around1:30, so plan on a bit of a wait!

I was a little skeptical as the tempura was all vegetables and rice but it turned out so delish that we ordered two more. The onigiri rice set was also pretty good, if also a little on the healthy side. The two chicken pieces were fried well and were tasty. It is a pleasant place for lunch, with wonderful wide ranging views of the river and of a lovely little waterfall.

View was spectacular and food items were both beautiful and delicious. This place is midway between Ehime and Kochi, a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trip up if you rented a car. Staff knows a bit of English, so ordering will not be too much of an issue. Highly recommended to come in spring or in autumn!

I really love this tea house! They served free hot and cold tea, and the staff was very friendly. We ordered tea waffle & matcha ice cream, I personally recommended matcha ice cream, waffle is not cripsy enough. Highly recommended drivers to stop by to enjoy a meal here 🙂
