This cafe would fit in anywhere. How lucky to find it in the mountains between Mie and Gifu! EXTREMELY reasonable prices: the “Polonia Pilaf” (pictured) was just ¥650 in July, 2025. And it comes with small salad and soup! It’s surprisingly spacious on the inside and the music isn’t too loud. It’s an ideal place to have lunch and chat. It seems that the main chef is also an excellent knitter. The cute stuffed animals and the wall hanging are all her knitted creations! Finally, they have the cutest little sugar containers I’ve seen. I really had to resist taking one home with me.

上石津郷土資料館に光秀関連の展示を見に行く道中で見つけて、名前を見てロシア系の食べ物等が出てくるのか、と、考え、資料館の帰り道に寄らせて頂きました。 木曜日定休日以外の日はモーニングサービスのパンが焼きそばパンとかトーストの皿に目玉焼きが載ってくるという、なかなか面白いお店です。残念ながらランチ時に伺ったので食べられませんでしたが。 ランチは定食メニューが数種類とサンドイッチ系がありました、 カミサンが焼きそば定食、私が焼き肉定食でした。
