Lemon Tree Okayama — Restaurant in Okayama

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Okayama. The owner is from Milan, Italy so I was very excited to try authentic Italian food. We made a reservation for 2 people at 11:15, and although we showed up 3 minutes late it was no problem. The majority of the seating is cushions on tatami flooring with low tables, so you have to take off your shoes when you enter. We were served very promptly and decided to go with the 3-course option, which includes an appetizer plate, main dish, and dessert. For the main dish I ordered the pesto lasagna, which was absolutely delicious! So was the tiramisu dessert. The owner came to check on us many times to make sure we enjoyed our meal and we chatted for a bit as well, he was very friendly! You also get a stamp card so if you keep coming back, you can discounts on your next meal. The desserts were delicious! The Main Dishes (Pastas and Risotto) were also very good, although not amazing. They probably would have been a lot better if we had wine with them. Durante il nostro viaggio in Giappone, fatto nel mese di Novembre 2023, abbiamo scelto Lemon Tree per rompere l'astinenza dal Made in Italy. A gestire questo Ristorante, immerso in una location tradizionale Giapponese dal cuore Italiano, Matteo e Megumi, due padroni di casa che sanno come intrattenere gli ospiti. Abbiamo scelto due menù completo con Antipasto misto di salumi e formaggi accompagnato da pizza calda fatta in casa (eccezionale!), 2 Lasagne realizzate con pasta di loro produzione, una con funghi e salsiccia ed una bolognese classica, saporite e di buon gusto.
