ARIDOI THAI RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Okinawa

I’ve tried to stop by this place several times during lunch hours, but the door was always locked. One day it was finally open, so I walked in. What I saw was honestly disgusting. The kitchen was filthy, the floors were dirty, and the building looked like it hadn’t been maintained in years. It looked more like an abandoned squat than a restaurant.

Now I understand why they only do Uber Eats. If customers saw the inside, no one would ever order from there. I’ve never eaten the food, and after what I saw, I never will. This place feels unsafe and unsanitary. It should not be allowed to operate. Someone needs to investigate this...

We love this little restaurant and eat there 3-4 times a month. Meals (except for sets at lunch) are 1050yen. Lunch sets are 950. Food is delicious but it’s a one man show, so you may have to wait a bit for your meal. Don’t let the wait turn you off though; it’s worth it. Menu has pictures and an English explanation if you’ve never heard of the dish. There are two parking places beside the restaurant, but there’s a parking lot down the street on the right (turn up the hill beside the garage). I am sad to say that I wouldn't give them another chance to this restaurant. I'd ordered to-go orders several times since this May, but after a male server with glasses has gone, this place is seriously falling apart. Last couple times we've ordered food from them since the guy with glasses has gone, they just cannot make food right for me. I have small children so I asked them not to make my order spicy, but instead of making my orders not spicy, they make them tasteless and spicy... I wish the server with glasses comes back but hey I'll just go to another...
