Lifesaver shop. Almost all shops were closed during summer period - 2 june 17. The service from the lady waitress was excellent, and she speaks good english, makes effort to translate menu and explain the food. Nice tonkatsu chicken. The big portion costs the same as the small. Big portion is huge! Worth a visit for the ambience, decently good food and if you want to chill.

If you have trouble finding shops for lunch at yanaba station during summer, this is the great place to come. The food is delicious and ambience is fantastic. The shop owner is kind and helpful. She even helped me to deposit my luggage while i go for lake tour.

地元民に愛されている『レストラン くんくん』さん。 洋風な佇まいで落ち着いた雰囲気があります。 昔の洋食屋さんに来たと感じる店内はもう美味しいと頭の中で浮かびますねぇ。 連れの方が来る時はいつもくんくんさん自慢のチキンカツを頼むそうです。 勿論私もチキンカツを頂きます。 待つ間に壁のメニュー板に目をやると、 これまた好物のカキフライもあるではないですか。 ※しかも1個から頼める。 後で頼んでみようと思いました。 が惜しくも頼む事は無さそう。 来ました来ました。 超ビッグサイズと言う言葉がふさわしい。 サイズ感が伝わりづらいかもしれませんが、 こんなに大きいとは思いませんでした。 ※ここでカキフライが頭から消えました。 大きく切って一口。 外はサクサク中はやわらかチキンカツに、 特製デミグラスソースがたっぷりとかかって。 食べ応えがありながら重くないのでどんどん進んじゃいます。 ここでパンではなくライスがまたいいですねぇ。 2人とも無言で食べ進め無事？完食。 久し振りに大満腹になりました。 落ち着いた雰囲気もあってか食後もティータイムで楽しめるのでゆっくりしたい時にはとてもいいお店です。 くんくんチキンカツご馳走様でした。
