聖レイクサイド館 — Restaurant in Omi

Passed by in late November 2024 for lunch and a stroll by the lake. Small family run place with great food: fresh and tasty! The kids loved the plain udon and I loved the pork cutlet rice. If you're wanting to order food, probably best to have a translation app or know how to read Japanese because there was no English menu. Also, don't expect fast food, everything is prepared to order and you're meant to take your time and enjoy the place. For that it was really nice, and the view out onto the lake was simply serene. Took a quiet walk around and saw the frost on the trees. Everything was so quiet and peaceful....

Ⅰ： コロナ禍が落ち着いた2021年11月、1年ぶりに、レイクサイド館を再訪。 今朝から降り始めた初雪で薄化粧した聖湖と湖畔の山々。その研ぎ澄まされた景色を目の前に、ハンバーグランチを満喫。至極の時を過ごすことができました。

Ⅱ： 麻績村に広がる林檎畑を駆け上がったところに位置する聖湖畔のレイクサイド館。手作りアップルパイとアップルシナモンケーキをティータイムにいただきました。 リンゴの果実味を引き出すパイ、ケーキとのコンビネーション。静かな聖湖の眺めにも溶けこみ、最高の時間をすごさせていただきました。
