Ka-Yo-Te. Cool name. I discovered this restaurant while on one of my cycling routes. I was famished and wanted some veggie noodle soup (Yasai soba). Kayote isn't a tourist magnet like many of the other nearby places. Locals and workers eat the simple but delicious food here. The soup is not overly anything, and tasty. Good noodles and broth. The veggies taste slightly smoked and appear to be stir fried right before served. Made me happy! The ladies are nice and we're friendly accommodating this gaijin...

Ordered the Tamago Set (egg)which comes with a ramen, a bowl of rice, side dishes as well as a fried egg and a slice of spam. Food was tasty, hot and cooked fresh open order.
Total cost was around 1200 JPY (~11 SGD, 9.5 USD).
