We were biking the Shimanami bike route and was looking for a place to eat so we could recharge. Randomly ran into this place and was the best surprise we could have run into during this trip! The owner was courteous and hospitable to us even with our limited Japanese.

Read moreThe Okonomiyaki was delicious! Many layers with wonderful sauce. The owner was a wonderful host and very friendly even though our Japanese ability is very limited. She made us feel very welcome.
As others have noted the restaurant is a little hidden. It’s in the alleyway in the middle of the block, look for the banner and tall yellow sign. If you are biking, the owner asked that we bring the bikes directly outside the restaurant in the alley.
