Curry dinner in a quirky themed bar-restaurant!

This idiosyncratic little cave-themed eatery gives new meaning to hole in the wall restaurant. In a somewhat soulless area of Osaka where the industrial docks butt up against apartment blocks, this tiny restaurant has nestled itself down in the midst of garages and warehouses, so I don't see many people stumbling upon it. If you're in the area, though, it's well worth a visit, especially for a small party who fancy a drink.

After being buzzed in from the intercom, customers find themselves in a very claustrophobic staircase where I advise anyone with a backpack to take it off before ascending. The cave decor put me in mind of a theme park, and certainly makes the venue stand out! Upstairs is a single table and several counter seats.

I had a butter chicken curry with my beer, which was flavoursome and served in a funny little canteen to go with the caving theme.

The staff was friendly and helpful and I imagine it would be a great friendly environment for drinking and relaxing later in the evening.

Entering the place alone is already an adventure on its own! Really interesting concept of a restaurant inside a cave!

The curry was nice enough but it caters more to Japanese taste, so it's not as flavorful. We had the butter chicken curry and we enjoyed it. It's not spicy at all but you can request to up the spice or none at all. The serving is quite generous!

There was one staff member when we went there, she warmly welcomed and assisted us the whole time. We were lucky because it wasn't busy at that time.

The place is a literal cave, so they can't accommodate big groups. Best to reach out to them before heading out there to check if it's busy.
