If you’re attending the Osaka World Expo and craving a proper sit-down meal, don’t miss the gyukatsu restaurant near the main thoroughfare—it’s a calm, elevated break from the busy pavilions, and the quality is outstanding.

I ordered the Wagyu Sirloin Gyukatsu and the Menchi Katsu, and both were absolutely worth it. The Wagyu Sirloin was rich and buttery, served rare with a perfectly crisp panko crust. You finish it yourself on a personal hot stone, letting you control how much char and sizzle you want in each bite. It’s indulgent, but delicate—melts-in-your-mouth kind of good.

The Menchi Katsu, a minced meat cutlet, was juicy and deeply flavorful with a more rustic, homey feel. It had a satisfying texture and paired beautifully with the dipping sauces and sides. The miso soup, pickles, and fluffy rice made it a complete, comforting set.

今回いただいたものは「牛ロースカツ京玉膳」

提供も早く、ものの数分でサーブされます 早く食べて、万博を楽しみたい人には嬉しいですね

美しい色目の牛カツで、食感はサクッと 中はしっとりジューシーで旨味の塊です

味変アイテムは、醤油、塩、ソースにカレーなど 色々と楽しめて最後まで飽きずに食べられます

ドリンクは「いのち輝くソーダ」 万博に合わせて『みゃくみゃく』カラーです

「牛カツサンド」と「和牛メンチカツ」をテイクアウトし 小腹が空いた時に会場内で美味しくいただきました

What I had this time was the "Beef Loin Cutlet Kyotamazen."

It was served quickly, in just a few minutes. It's great for people who want to eat quickly and enjoy the Expo. The beef cutlet has a beautiful color and a crispy texture. The inside is moist and juicy, and full of flavor.

The flavor change items include soy sauce, salt, sauce, and curry, so you can enjoy it in a variety of ways and never get bored until the end. The drink is "Inochi Kagayaku Soda," which is in the "Myaku Myaku" color to match the Expo.

I took out the "Beef Cutlet Sandwich" and "Wagyu Minced Cutlet" and enjoyed them inside the venue when I was hungry. Even when it's crowded, the West Gate "Kaze no Hiroba Marketplace" is a relatively relaxing place to spend time, so it's a hidden gem!

上菜很快，几分钟就做好了。对于想快速享用美食并欣赏世博会的人来说，这道菜绝对不容错过。 牛排色泽鲜艳，口感酥脆。内里湿润多汁，风味十足。

店内提供酱油、盐、酱汁和咖喱等多种口味的替换，让您可以尽情享用，永远不会感到厌倦。 饮料是“Inochi Kagayaku Soda”，颜色为“Myaku Myaku”，与世博会主题相呼应。

肚子饿的时候，就打包了“炸牛排三明治”和“和牛炸肉排”，在场内享用。 西口的“风之广场市场”即使人潮拥挤，也算是一个比较轻松的休闲场所，真是个隐藏的宝地！

아름다운 색조의 쇠고기 커틀릿으로, 식감은 바삭 바삭하고 안은 촉촉하고 육즙이 맛있는 덩어리입니다.

맛변 아이템은 간장, 소금, 소스에 카레 등 다양한 즐길 수 있고 끝까지 질리지 않고 먹을 수 있습니다.

음료는 "생명 빛나는 소다" 박람회에 맞추어 「미쿠 쿠 쿠」컬러입니다

"소 돈까스 샌드"와 "와규 멘치 커틀릿"을 테이크 아웃 배가 고파졌을 때 회장에서 맛있었습니다.

I tried Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu in Tokyo a few years back and loved it. To me it was the beef version of Tonkatsu but the coating was thinner and the meat was medium rare instead of well done. This time, I came to their outlet at Osaka Expo for lunch and found they have added shrimp and eel in their menu. I have ordered the combo set with beef and eel. I was not having the wagyu but just Japanese beef. It was good, still juice and tender wirh crispy coating. The eel was also good and offered another taste. Price-wise I don't think they have raise the the peice because they are inside Expo and as a foreigner I was happy that the waitresses were able to communicate in English (not just ordering but even explanation of the sauces).
