Chozaburo sushi — Restaurant in Sado

We arrived at 11 am and the place was full at 11:30am. A lot of locals and tourists at the restaurant. One of the most popular sushi restaurants in Sado Island. We ordered the 3000 yen amakase set, its also called chefs recommendation and they pick the best cuts of sushi. There were 3 sushi chefs and the omakase (chefs recommendation) is made by head chef and the average and good sushi sets are made by the second chef. The sushi cuts were very good but I think it’s difficult to taste the difference for average sushi eaters. We arrived around 1pm and was able to sit down right away. Immediately, the chefs are welcoming and start conversing with you.

The sushi set they recommended at fish of the day as well as fish in season. Absolutely delicious! Some fish just melts in your mouth!

小さい頃からある老舗の地元の寿司屋。家族で初めてまわらない寿司屋に初めて連れて行ってもらった場所がここ長三郎。

元々ここはラーメン屋さんからスタートしているとの事。なので寿司はもちろん、ラーメンが美味しいですね。飲んで〆の一杯で食べる人もいます。どういう経緯で寿司屋になったかまではわかりませんが、今では佐渡でオススメのお寿司屋と言ったら、回転寿司は弁慶、まわらない寿司屋この長三郎さんですね。

昔は普通の地元人気の寿司屋さんって感じでしたが、テレビ番組で取材受けたり、旅行雑誌に掲載されたり、時代が進んでネットの口コミサイトなどで広まり、今では食の観光地となりました。今では地元民よりも県外客が多い気がします。

久しぶりに来ました。一人で来るのは初めて。小さい頃家族で食べに行ったなぁ。 予算を考えて今日は並にぎりをいただきました。安く済ませることも出来るが、ネタのグレードを上げたり、沢山食べようとするとそれなりに高くなります。回らない寿司屋ですからね。たくさん食べたいのであればお財布と相談しながらがいいと思います。

美味いね。食べ応えあるネタ、シャリの握り具合、酢飯の味が美味い。ホッとしました。
