Cafe-Restaurant Ryuo is a hidden gem deep within the countryside of Saiki. Cuisine options include unique styles of pizzas, pastas, as well as wild boar dishes (freshly hunted and caught by the owner himself!) The owner, Yano-san, is a wonderful gentleman who hunts down the animals used for the restaurant's cuisine. As a foreigner, I really appreciated his willingness to converse with me in English! Overall, a must-go to restaurant for anyone looking to unwind and dine after exploring the nearby Totoro Forest and Totoro Bus Stop.

A lovely little Ghibli themed Cafe serving various food on Totoro Tableware. There's also an excellent souvenir shop where Ghibli items can be purchased as well as handmade items. The owner was very nice and spoke excellent English. I recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Delightful cafe and owner. Had the seafood risotto salad set for ¥1,100, it was delicious. Also serves pizza, pasta and curry rice.
