This charcoal grilled eel is the best I've ever tasted. It is not slimy and soft like the other ones I've eaten before. You can really taste the meat of the eel. The eel is so wonderfully grilled and complimented with the teriyaki sauce it literally dances in your mouth. The texture of the eel is so foreign yet the taste is so familiar to me. Absolutely amazing.
They even have a eel salad with a kind of citrus dressing (I guess?) which is something so fresh and new to me that it blew my mind.
Every set also comes with a tofu soup. I am also amazed by this thick and cloudy looking broth. There is so much 'tofu'ness inside that it's so good.
