創作割烹 湖泉 別館 — Restaurant in Sakai

We were tourists from Canada visiting Japan for the first time. Our kids were tired and hungry after getting off the plane not long ago. We happened to walk by this restaurant around dinner time and were completely blown away by how amazing it was. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and accommodating (even though we couldn’t speak Japanese), and the dining area was very comfortable for small children. We loved the attention to detail, such as neatly folded napkins, attentive staff, nicely plated food, and even a cute origami crane for everyone. Perhaps this is typical of Japanese culture, but we really appreciated it. This was the best dining experience to showcase Japanese cuisine. After a fruitful trip at Harvest hill, it’s time to go back to hotel in Osaka. We stopped by this restaurant as my family crave for some sushi. We are foreigners and did not make reservation, fortunately the staff allowed us to dine in. We felt so lucky and dare not ask for English menu. The staff was very caring and asked if we can have wasabi. When the sushi platter arrived, we found the wasabi was perfect, without feeling choking at all. 今回は平日ランチタイムに一人で利用しました。 パンジョ専門店街の小さな路地の中程にあるお店で、こんなところにこんな落ち着いた和食のお店があるなんてと、入ってビックリでした。一人でもカウンターで、ゆっくり食事がいただけます。 ランチタイムも時間をずらせば 静かに食事ができます。 カウンターも、テーブルが奥行きがあって、食事がしやすく、是非また、利用したいです。 お弁当も注文できる様で、こちらでいただくお料理を外でもいただけるのは嬉しいですね。 家で行事の為 お弁当を探していたので、尋ねると、仕出し風弁当は、今は ...
