I have read the other reviews and many (Japanese) people use the term “hard” bread when referring to this bakery’s bread, but its not true. It’s “real” or “authentic” bread! It’s supposed to be crispy and crunchy! I am from Germany, and its not easy to find a bakery with real bread in Japan. I cycled all the way from Nishinomiya to try this bakery and I was positively shocked! They have authentic wholemeal bread, Vegetarian food options, different types of pizza etc. I was a little tired out and angry when I arrived there, because they have hid their bakery on the highest mountain in the area. But if you are fit, its a great cycle destination. They have indoor tables and a terrace, so you can relax there and afterwards roll down the mountain again. A large, indoor wood-fired oven is the center of the bakery. The bread is fresh and delicious! Though the selection is small, everything was amazing. The bread we bought was cut into pieces so that we all could enjoy it.
